We're located on 103 Palmer St Woolloomooloo Sydney which is in between the City Centre and Kings Cross. Walk 7 minutes one way and you're at the city where you'll find the funkiest pubs and clubs every few metres! Walk 5 minutes the other way and you've got Kings Cross - the red light district, some more great pubs and 24hr nightlife. In 15 minutes you can walk to the Opera House, The Rocks, Darling Harbour and Central Coach Terminal. We've got convenience stores less than a minute away and supermarkets only a few minutes down the road.

Take advantage of our central location. No matter how good the location of a backpacker hostel in Kings Cross, City Resort Hostel is closer to the City Centre and all the major tourist attractions!

Stay in a nice relaxing environment away from the busy nightlife, but if your up for some clubbing or a pub crawl, just take a stroll down the road to have a few drinks and PARTY!

How to get here

When you arrive at the airport or the coach terminal, give us a call on the freecall number 1800 688 335 and we will arrange for a FREE pick up* - our special way of welcoming you to Sydney and of course our place, City Resort Hostel. 

If you are arriving before 7am or after 7pm, it is best to catch a shuttle bus (pictured below) outside the airport terminal. Ask for City Resort Hostel (address below) and the bus driver will drop you off at the front door of our hostel. The cost is $12 per person but if you show us your receipt on check-in we will refund your bus fare! (Minimum 3 nights stay). We can also arrange a drop off to the airport from our front door for just $12 per person.
